Zerran is committed to offering healthy alternatives to the hair care professional and customer. Our ingredients include natural conditioners that give hair strength, body and a smooth, silky feel. To soothe, tone and condition the scalp, a selection of natural herbs and essential oils are utilized. All our products are cruelty-free, never tested on animals. 100% vegan, free of any animal by-products. 100% paraben free.

Fragrance FreeZerran’s designated fragrance free products contain natural aromatherapy oils, imparting a subtle fresh scent to our hair care offerings. This health conscious alternative is for those who are sensitive to chemically derived fragrances and enhancers.

Sulfate FreeSulfates like sodium laurel sulfate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) make personal care products foam, lather, and cleanse. For people with highly sensitive skin, sulfates may irritate the scalp and/or skin, excessively strip essential oils from tresses, and cause hair to feel very dry to the touch. Zerran offers sulfate free product choices.

Alcohol FreeA commonly used skincare ingredient, SD alcohol, also known as wood grain alcohol, has been considered drying to the hair. Zerran’s focus on healthy alternatives includes alcohol free hair care products for customers who seek that option.

Paraben FreeSynthetic preservatives, methyparaben and propylparaben have commonly been included in personal care products. However, ongoing debate over its continued use and long-term safety has led us to remove these ingredients from our products. ALL Zerran formulations are paraben free.

Formaldehyde FreeFormaldehyde is a chemical compound widely used in industrial manufacturing and abundantly found in the atmosphere. It’s a byproduct of combustion and a component of smog. High levels of exposure are known to lead to serious health problems and the possibility of cancer in the long term. Although authorized levels of this chemical have been established when used in aqueous cosmetic formulations, formaldehyde that is heated, aerosolized and inhaled often exceeds those “safe” levels. That is why ALL Zerran products are formaldehyde free.

100% Cruelty Free
Zerran does not, and never has conducted product testing on animals. All of our ingredients, product testing and production are cruelty-free.
100% Vegan
All Zerran products are free of animal products and/or by-products including honey, dairy, gelatin and lanolin. We believe healthy hair and scalp does not depend on the use of animal-derived ingredients.
Sodium Chloride Free
Sodium Chloride, or salt, occurs naturally in seawater. It can also be found in most shampoo formulas and will not damage hair. However, the presence of salt in such a product will wash keratin off faster, reducing the life span of a BKT treatment. That is why keratin-style treatments recommend avoiding shampoos containing salt or sulfates.
